"Direct of 'Vampire King' confirms that there will be 'get very dark scenes'" Like I dunno man, I know the point is to get asses in seats, but I feel like more people would have a unique opinion on media if they were told ahead of time how to feel about it.

Might just be me, but I think showrunners and directors confirming things about their show/movie before it comes out spoils the experience and plants seeds in people's heads that make them pre-emptively love or hate it. I truly believe it's contributing to the media literacy crisis
