Growing up in the digital '10s meant knowing dozens of other kids being exposed to deeply traumatizing art that was just floating around on social media...and the universal response has literally been apathy or victim blaming..."well kids shouldn't be online" "they should see a therapy about it"

People used to make their own websites for their most intense and traumatic art, but now everywhere I see are people casually posting it with a flimsy tag system (if at all) and blaming the site host for responding with panicked, authorization action.

One survivor wants to create and publicly share their trauma art where anyone can find it, and another survivor is so stricken with grief upon seeing that art that they can no longer safely engage with the platform that other artist is using.
What the hell is happening.

Case by case moderation is more effort but always better.

No they're right. AI is literally destroying several environments around the world and actively poisoning thousands of people but every company wants to dial up the destruction. Maybe if you went outside you could see how hard it is to breath is data centers pumping pollution into the water and air.

What are you going to do about your environmental impact? All AI is an irresponsible use of resources that we can never replace. The energy, water, heat and noise pollution, it all comes at a cost.

The cost of AI is rapidly overwhelming our natural resources and there is no moral approach to make up for the damage.
