Scutellosaurus is one of the earliest examples of armored dinosaurs, and therefore making it one important little dude.
It is a basal member of Thyreophora (shield bearers), the same group that includes dinosaurs like Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurs.
Scutellosaurus was a biped with strong hind legs and a long tail, so it would have been pretty quick.

Scutellosaurus. It’s name means “little shielded lizard”.
It was a small herbivore, about 1.3 meters (4ft) long and weighed about 3 kg (7lbs).
It lived during the Early Jurassic in what is now Arizona.
