instantly felt uncomfortable and a little trapped. I purposely bombed the date to get out of it. It worked enough that he left. I waited 20 minutes to leave, and yet I still had the vibe he was outside waiting. So I walked the opposite direction from my car. I pulled an absolute ninja move and disappeared, then waited to see if he started to follow. HE DID. I watched him driving around looking for me. Do not give strangers your phone number. Stay on the app until you meet them in person. Meet somewhere public. Let people know where you are. If there is a public service station nearby (fire, parks dept, police) park there. Be aware and stay safe!! And remember not everyone is a creep, but some of them are.

You are not paranoid by taking precautions on these dates. They literally are strangers you are taking a chance on.
