Graham Platner as a political prospect reflects an abandonment of standards. Our tent needs veterans and security officials, but this guy comes off like a Proud Boy who stayed home. Remember- Gavin McInnes was a hipster/punk type and he helped spark the J6 nightmare!
Platner is better off oyster farming and listening to mid-tier beatdown hardcore. We need a big tent, but a tent with integrity that can be taken seriously.

Yes. In my experience, he is associated with issues that matter to them (industry, construction, policing/public safety). When it came to immigration, they were under the impression that enforcement would be restricted to hardcore criminals. Also, communism/socialism has a negative connotation.

She is the worst! The real bummer is that in my lifetime I have known quite a few undoc’d people who’ve exemplified better character, American values, and who have straight up lived in this country longer than her. I can only hope that she gets boo’ed out of a restaurant or something in that vein.
At my old firm, there were quite a few Trumpy, turbo-Christian folks on staff. A few of them were name dropping their fave pundits and at one point someone brought up Doug Wilson. Someone else flatly responded with “Never Wilson.”. This guy is even too extreme for many in that camp.
