Happy Wednesday Furry friend - I do know very well what happened to those figure heads of class structure and enforcers in chief. An example of France being more progressive, more egalitarian than this small lump of rock, oddly attached to ideas of comfort in the status quo. 👀

A photograph taken at an oblique angle of an antique lifeboat through the window of the boat shed it’s housed in by a group of (presumed) local volunteers. The Alfred Corry. The lifeboat is displayed on a wooden cradle construction and only partially visible. Notably the pale blue, white and scarlet bands of its hull and rope draped along its sides in pleasant loops. It’s a bright BlueSky kinda day visible in the glass reflection alongside an expanse of car park near empty adjoining the beach itself. Situated in Southwold in Suffolk it’s accessible and the location worth a visit irrespective of the boat shed museum (restricted times) being open or otherwise. Pleasingly it’s close to the RNLI station serving this stretch of coast. ⚪️🔴🦋🔵

A photograph taken from a low position on the themselves low slung, dunes of a beach in Suffolk on the sunniest of near spring days. In the foreground a collection of natural materials form a made semi hide or shelter a very small person or child could play at taking cover in. Or a professional birder disguise themselves a little. The sand is powdery and glowing its light gold in the afternoon sun between and beyond long beach grasses. Further still the grey blue of the North Sea and the bluest of blue skies flecked near imperceptibly with tiny traces of clouds combine to have made the scene feel other (than the UK East Coast). 💙🦋✨

Oh I agree - this is a great shot/capture - I do the same but it does induce a degree of pause, especially if I’ve grabbed the view (and haven’t been able to talk to them). Using other humans as subject/object etc. we all do it though eh!
