Is now a convenient time to say I've taught myself how to port XIV mods to VRchat and Second Life?

If you’re caught modding ffxiv where you have power over other players in coop or competitive content (boss mods, rotation managers, auto markers) you deserve a hardware ban and any accounts used on the hardware get banned with it (if account was used within 7 days on that pc)

If you (cosmetic) mod in ffxiv you should go play second life or VRChat. There’s so, so much more you can do with the skills you learn and tools available to those instead of ffxiv. And the.. scenes, are far thirstier (and lucrative) too.

I prefer bards over DJs 100% of the time.

Imagine being in game and not understanding any context for why people are jumping / whatever unless you also tune in to a twitch stream?? At least with bards you can hear what they’re playing and it’s in universe.

I’m glad the MARE plugin got shut down. That mod had the potential for abuse and doesn’t belong in the final fantasy universe.

Did I use it? Briefly. Then I didn’t like what was happening with ffxiv modding in general so i stopped.

$2000 for collection and lab testing

Thankfully a lot of this stuff (Outside of electrical/plumbing) can be DIY as long as the necessary notice is given.

Current order of operations for renovations (And this will have to be over a few years)

1. Asbestos Testing (Old building)
2. Replace electrical panel / Baseboard Heaters
3. Kitchen
(Move-In)
4. Bathroom
5. Living Room
6. Primary Bedroom
(Move my stuff to the good bedroom)
7. "Office"
