the constant need to maintain it. to feed it when even thinking of eating makes you tired. exercising wears you out but not exercising makes you feel even worse physically and mentally. the ridiculous amounts of pills and painkillers and it still fails you almost daily

if every single service and transaction is monitored for its adherence to fundamentalist christian ethics, and every piece of media has to go through those services or transactions, you could very quickly find yourself in a world where no queer art or publication is possible to obtain or distribute
