I actually do think a lot of white Americans think activism is about yelling people into submission

Jose Andres We have been told that Gaza's borders are closed indefinitely. If they stay closed, wckitchen will run out of food this week.

The world has gone mad.

Like, best case scenario here is that this guy is woefully ill-equipped to be navigating the media waters necessary to be a competent public official.

Yeah even if you don't want to ascribe malicious intent (and I'm not exactly inclined to be that charitable tbh), the fact that he continues to step on Nazi rakes with this frequency is rather alarming.

Please make a terrible ruckus about this, if you live in Oregon

Sen. Ossoff Statement on Iran
Atlanta, Ga. - U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today released the following statement.
"Eight months ago, Donald Trump lied to the country when he claimed U.S. air strikes had 'obliterated' Iran's nuclear program.
"Now Trump says he's taken America to war for regime change in Iran.
"Trump has launched this regime change war and put American forces at risk without presenting evidence of an imminent threat, without clear objectives, without having exhausted diplomacy, without a plan for the aftermath, and without the consent of Congress.
"I oppose yet another regime change war-of-choice in the Middle East. Congress must convene immediately and pass a War Powers Resolution to assert our Constitutional authority over war and peace.
"The President has presented no evidence that Iran or its nuclear program β€” which he falsely claimed to have 'obliterated' β€” pose an imminent threat to the United States, or that diplomacy was exhausted. Iran's support for terrorism and uranium enrichment have long destabilized the region. But sending American forces into harm's way should only ever be a last resort.
"I pray for the safety of U.S. forces who have been ordered into battle and commend their extraordinary professionalism."

Ossoff’s statement is 1000x stronger than Schumer-Jeffries. This is a moderate Jewish Senator from a Trump state. The split isn’t moderate vs progressive, but leading vs poll-reacting

Yeah the prevailing mood is vastly different. I was a HS Freshman at the time of the initial invasion, and the consensus opinion (outside of the most vocal lefties) among normie Democrats was various flavors of tacit approval.

Self-love is the most important thing so I love this for you.

But also: WHO is out here talking mess right now? Do I need to get active on a Sunday??

we're gonna find out graham platner's middle name is "adolf" and he's gonna be like haha oh yeah I've been meaning to change that, just found out recently about that other adolf

Very much so. I see a lot of people who use "two things can be true" as pretext to bash one specific group or thing while posturing as somehow being an "objective" arbiter.

Israel's systematic attempts to kill the entire Iranian opposition leadership in Iran is indicative of what (some) of us have been sayingβ€” Israel doesn't not want to turn the IRI into a democratic republican state, it wants there to be no state. It wants a rubble-state, Gaza or Yemen or worse.

I block people who are annoying in OTHER people’s replies. It’s a hobby at this point. Block hunting.

Absolutely. Specific folks and topics are like magnets for bad people

That BAFTA dumpster fire was the perfect time to just sit and observe all the kinds of people that need to be blocked into oblivion.

A wise and righteous decision. Cultivate your social media experience to your liking. I see people with bad vibes in anybody's mentions and I zap their asses.

I know a lot is going on, but I just wanna say everyone looked so beautiful at the NAACP Image Awards in what felt like a clear-throated and visual rebuke of the BAFTAs. Self-regard and self-presentation are powerful.

It's not even spicy, so you're just slathering your food in slightly less sweet honey. Keep that garbage off my plate thank you very much!

01.03.2026 17:47 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

So apparently hot honey is the latest food fad. I'm seeing it pop up at every damn eatery and fast food joint.

And I have to be honest here, that shit stinks.

Snickers definitely the gold standard.

Milky Way is probably my 2nd.

Also, peanut butter M&M's have crack in them.

I love how it's been reported that even Warner's contacted the BBC to get them to ax the outburst from the recording. Yet these lunkheads are still out here trying to run the "Actually these were all just innocent mistakes" playbook

I saved this screenshot of Emily Gallagher talking about why she endorsed Delgado bc it’s such a perfect summary of exactly how Hochul acted in 2022 too.

She is a bad governor. We deserve better. And now she has no real reason to constrain her most centrist Republican urges.

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Eh...I don't want to sound closed minded, but let's just say that my experiences with 2) were incredibly eye-opening in ways that I'm not exactly looking to revisit.

Will again point out how hilariously stupid it is that the people who are given the biggest platforms to discuss the NBA very clearly hate the sport itself.

Earlier today I watched Udonis Haslem diagram a play in-studio to demonstrate how the Heat were trying to bottle up Kevin Durant.

This evening I randomly turn on the ABC pre-game show and am immediately met with that biscuit head ass whiner throwing yet another tantrum about the Lakers.

Will again return to my hobbyhorse of pointing out that this new media lineup has thrown into very sharp release how abysmal Disney/ESPN has handled their NBA broadcast production.

I would sooner jab my ear with an ice pick than listen to Charles Barkley's thoughts on the Lakers

This is an excellent piece and I'm absolutely going to crib "white agitation" for future use because it is the perfect descriptor.
