This was a great play
I think the intention was to have the second season explain the origins of why Nell has her powers, which they were writing, but then the show got cancelled so sadly, unless Disney change their mind, the backstory to why Nell has her powers will never be known
A real shame it didn’t get the second series it deserved
"Renegade Nell" is a fairly fun adventure story with Jacobite plots plus some folk horror thrown in as garnish, starring evil warlock Adrian Lester, and Orla McCool from Derry Girls as Nell who becomes an accidental highwaywoman and social justice warrior when she returns home from the wars.
