I’ll never forget the day when my friends said “wow cut packaged fruit is so wasteful “ and I had to break it down for them some days I can’t even open a water bottle let alone peel /cut fruit.

Thankfully they understood and now take this knowledge and spread it.

But ppl don’t realize till late.

Disabled people rely on premade foods, whether packaged in favtories or cut and packaged in supermarkets.
Many don't have the resources (money, energy, etc) to make their own food.
This breakdown in the food safety programs in the US will disproportionately affect the diaabled.
