I'd agree that the music in Zelda feels more memorable than Crystalis, but I think Crystalis over the original Zelda is, I think, roughly where our final verdict ended up.
It did feel hard to not talk about Zelda as we went through Crystalis, just seemed like a very natural comparison.

Ecco may be one of the best examples of a game that hid its true nature a bit too well. I think most people that know the game don't know about the whole... alien thing.
