Should put it on the IBX from the start and use it
It’s wild that the title on the actual article is different from the thumbnail title
I think it might be for if they ever have a multi team trade and they need to “touch” every team. Only other use I can think of is being able to sign a random while over the cap and trade them 60 days later for either aggregation or getting a player who is on a low, greater than minimum contract
Vet minimum salaries are around $13k a day. They have 1.148m in 2nd apron space. Even rounding the daily salary up, to 14k, they have enough space for 82 days of prorated minimum salary. There’s only 66 days left this season. They can sign right away
Hawks haven’t been unlucky. Easy to predict those outcomes at the time of the decision. KP was always held together by duct tape. Murray wasn’t a good defender since SAS. Griffin had degen knee issues @ draft. John Collins was an overpay. #1 pick was lucky and a poor choice. Jalen was unlucky tho
I generally think the same can be said for the NFL and the Cowboys. It’s mahomes/kelce, Allen, Lamar, etc more than the teams. It’s not all that different to me, the NFL is just much more popular
Also, the NFL has much more parity and much less need for big draw/market teams to be good than the NBA. NBA has revenue share and luxury tax - teams like GS, LAL, NYK, Bos, making means millions of revenue to every small market team. GSW missing the playoffs in 2024 dropped the salary cap by 2 mil
As both a Knicks and Giants fan, don’t think this is accurate. Not totally sure what you mean by marquee, but it’s historically probably the Celtics over the Knicks, simply because they’re usually good. Can see arguments pro-NYK, tho. NFL is a one team league, “marquee” wise.
I’m allergic to eggs so I made pm the same thing except with homemade whipped cream (whipping cream + powdered sugar + vanilla) also used the powdered sugar rather than normal sugar for the other part. I don’t think it mixes as well (cheese might’ve been too cold), but generally a great sub
And now Bama has ND scheduled before USC does. Ironic.
I think the problem with that plan in the near future is simply that ND is already scheduled early. Moving the USC game would require rescheduling other relatively big games (Wisco, MSU, Auburn, Texas, Bama, etc).
Doable a decade down the road, but for now it would likely require a week 0 waiver
I’ve been very curious about toll by plate, EZ Pass, etc’s effect on tolls effects (if that makes sense). One bc tolls no longer necessarily slow you down, but also because it changes how the costs are perceived. It’s less of a marginal cost if it comes in a bill weeks later or out of an account
Tbf if BYU dropped for their loss then Bama probably should have dropped for their loss.
I don’t have their stats in from of me and defensive players are harder to project for HOF anyways, but guys I don’t see on there that I would love to see get an opportunity at least: Haloti Ngata, Geno Atkins, Justin Smith, London Fletcher, Eric Weddle.
Noticed they went to that when Deuce came on the floor and it was strange to watch compared to the past. Really plays to his strengths though.
Map of placed ND will play on a random night in October/November and Basilicas is just a circle. Internationally too. They will travel to the Vatican and play a game in St. Peter’s square, if you can squeeze 65k paying fans there
Nah they should just make it a WWE event. Mostly scripted. Exaggerate storylines from during the season. Hali and Brunson should be the model. Mixed with some normal allstar competition and in-game theatrics it would make for a fun game - especially for young fans
If MACtion were all on one night I think that would be the ideal redzone experience. 6 games, Tuesday evening, flipping from a 63-55 barn burner to a 7-3 slugfest to a 35-0 blowout with all the other sickos
not really an issue since they acrue a YOE and the team gets non-bird/early-bird/bird rights. McCullar, for example, could be signed for up to 120% of the 1 YOE minimum for up to 4 years (if they had apron space). So he could sign for more and longer than Kolek (2.4m vs 2.2m this season)
Team USA legend Langston Galloway
This is why I’m a fan of the sport. Incredible financial move. Brock Aller strikes again.
Corn Lobby and Dairy Lobby. Cereal Companies (sugar lobby).
There’s something beautiful about switching to a Notre Dame’s ad-less stadium after being bombarded by physical and digital ads for 2 hours while watching a Knicks game
Fair. I think the closest they have done to for-profit development as far as I remember was with Hudson Yards and the 7 train. I think they used Tax Increment Financing or something like it. Not exactly developing the land to fund transit, but definitely using the growth in value for bond repayment
MTA definitely has some amount of real estate operation. They have a pretty big TOD division - I’m just unsure how much of the process they delegate out to private interests vs handle in house.
NJ also added a “corporate transit fee” that’s like a 2.5% tax on businesses that make more than $10 million (in whichever accounting way that they chose)
NJ redirected a ton of their gas taxes towards transit in this budget. They also just started a yearly fee for electric cars (since they don’t pay gas taxes)
ND v Navy was in Dublin 2023
Probably would have to pay a bunch to JP Morgan/Abu Dhabi/whoever owns the parking now. Would reduce the revenue from the scheme and also the administration/lawyer fees around that would probably end up making it much less viable
