I could not agree more. I always thought he was a "just fine", Maryland Senator, but the bar was low. MD is know for quiet, effective, progressive legislators and he fit that mold. That's why I'm impressed that he has risen to the moment, understanding what his state and country require of him.

I wouldn't argue that Dems shouldn't do anything but Higgins, a thrice-divorced college dropout, won in 2024 with 70% of the vote. I would not be surprised if Clay Higgins HIMSELF puts this on a postcard and mails it to everyone in his district and wins with 75% of the vote in 2026.

Everyone talking about making tearing down Trump's Epstein Ballroom a prerequisite for running for President in 2028 isn't thinking big enough. A homeless shelter? The new Ellis Island? An orphanage for children of countries we have bombed? A methadone clinic? Why not all of the above!?!
