I want to remind everyone that this is me

The original scene... oh boy, where do I even begin. First, the backgrounds and music are based off Sonic Advance 3. Interesting choice, considering the other flashbacks were in the Mega Drive/Genesis style, but I like it. However, Sonic and Tails both use their "16-bit sprites but worse" sprites, and they look really bad, especially Tails. Also the movement and animation is stiff as hecc. Unfortunately, I do not have much experience with large-scale animation software such as Adobe Animate, so take these screenshot recreations instead. (Created January 11th 2024)

I think 3DS has my favorite Smash artstyle. I get the black outlines were only added to more easily see the characters on a tiny screen but it ended up making for a cool aesthetic. I'd like to see it be expanded upon in a future game, maybe with a more comic book-esque look.
