ahh thank you so much!! I actually wasn’t directly thinking of Junji Ito when I made it, but I can totally see it now that you mention it, his work definitely influences me in general though! super glad the creepy atmosphere came through bc I worked hours on the compo only 😭 hope it's worth it too 🥲

A girl is running up a hill, she's holding onto a kite, the wind is blowing, the kite's string wrapped around her neck, she looks up, and the string is pulling her with it. It's the digital & rendered painting of one of my D&D playable characters ; Preta Willem "Dafoe" Schattenfreude (heavily inspired by the actor Willem Dafoe due to their facial expressions ofc). They're a level 15 rogue (phantom) reborn alike drow. They're wearing tight leathers & silver jewelries, with great bat wings allowing them to fly. They're looking menacing but thrilled, holding dual Daggers of Venom.

I made art of one of fav D&D chaotic evil characters. At the time of the creation of the V1 of this one, I was still in middle school, watching too many Underworld movies.
They were still extra edgy back then lol

I saw how much this hobby/game got more popular (from 3 million players worldwide to 50 million so 700%+ apparently) it's getting more difficult to find some and prices are skyrocketing for some. It's spicy-ing the hunt so far, but I'm glad if it means more interactions and opportunities to play D&D

Very true, I'm so thankful that there are always some local bookstores and gaming ones (like Micromania-Zing and Philibert) which sometimes give discounts for used & refunded items. ✨🙏
Last month, I bought a Xanathar's Guide to Everything for around 10€ instead of 39,99€.

My desk, where I also sometimes play role-playing & video games. It's a dice colector's corner with D&D, art, anatomy & architecture books nearby. There is a laptop decorated with a lot of queer friendly stickers. Next to it, there is also my Wacom Intuos Pro which allows me to do both 3D & 2D digital art. As a student, this is also where I do my homework, study or just elaborate and create stuff most of the time.

A pile of 49 D&D handbooks, manuals and guides from 1st, 3rd, 3.5rd, 4th and 5th editions.

As the eldest child from die-hard role-playing gamers, I started from a couple of 3rd ed. D&D books (among Kult and Mascarade). I got it from friends & sellers, mostly secondhand. I tried to complete the 4th edition, but got to play so much at the 5th that it took over my priority goal haha iykyk

This one is so good fr I read it at a friend's. As someone living in europe, ebay/leboncoin/vinted/etc. are really good to find 4th, as for dices and minis, there are sellers who give discounts for "bulk" purchases. Need to be extra careful tho about package (if it's light, it's probably a scam).
