Apollo 17's Moonship
Apollo 17's Lunar Module Challenger ascent stage in lunar orbit. Designed for vacuum, it returned astronauts to orbit, then was intentionally crashed nearby. Its descent stage remains at the Apollo 17 landing site.

A technical diagram illustrating the architecture of the AT Protocol (ATP). A central User interacts with a Client App (e.g., Bluesky) on a smartphone, which connects to their Personal Data Server (PDS). The PDS contains an Event Stream and a Data Repository (Merkle Search Tree) storing Signed Records like Posts, Likes, and Follows. Multiple Other PDSs also feed into a central Relay (Big Graph Service) via the Event Stream. The Relay processes these streams into a Firehose (Aggregated Stream), which then feeds into the App View (Application View) where Aggregates, Feeds, Threads, and Counts are generated. The App View is also connected to a Feed Generator, which uses Custom Algorithms and a Labeler (Moderation Service) for Content Labels. The App View also feeds the Processed View (Timeline, Notifications) which connects back to the Client App. Additionally, the Identity Directory (DID PLC) handles DID Resolution, connecting to the PDS, Relay, and App View for identity management.
Google just released a new Gemini Image gen model, and I don't really see much use for image gen models outside of playing around with them for fun, but I managed to get it to use the Google search feature to get the info, and it put together this atproto visualisation... scarily realistic:

As a fellow Nepali, we all are welcoming. And Nepal is beautiful (except politician).

The need of decentralized social media is more than ever. Itβs just a matter of time when people realize about hosting their own PDS and switch between different social apps even one gets banned. Protocol >>>> App.
Spoke something here regarding protest. Previously I said about Bluesky can register social media on Nepal to get exposure but I found the reason on why government is doing such. Itβs a big censorship agenda who talks against the government and their kids too.
More in thread π§΅
Can connect you with someone in protest. DM :)

04.09.2025 10:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nepal government is banning all social media apps today in Nepal. The best thing Bluesky can do is formally register in Nepal which allows exposure + a door of being a registered social media from Nepal.
This could be one of the good play if done by Bluesky.. cc @jay.bsky.team @rose.bsky.team :)
