I think it's cuz the main antagonistic forces were different and the viruses were different, so my brain figured that meant isolated stories within the bigger universe (I know some franchises take that approach).

I stand corrected xD - I've gone this long thinking they were part of the universe with the same overarching bad corpo Umbrella but thinking they were more or less standalone.

I really should find a time to play through the franchise xD

I'm really torn on deciding whether BioShock Infinite, or the original BioShock, is better. If it wasn't for my slay sister @ozlupo.bsky.social, I may never have known the majesty of these games. Truly a franchise that I have come to love

I'm using this as an opportunity to lump two more games together: Oracle of Ages, and Oracle of Seasons (though Ages, for me, is better). Two more underappreciated Zelda games that had some really phenomenal dungeons and bosses. Veran is just so cunty as a main antagonist. And Onox is a dragon.
