I just don't get how it's not an open and shut case. FIFA administrate the England U17 team. They allowed him to play for England U17. He was born in London. So I don't get how they can now go "Actually, he's not English".
Completely bizarre that FIFA consider Madjo English enough to allow him to play in England youth internationals. But not English enough to be registered with Villa as a non-international transfer.

I'm honestly not sure he's that much better than Douglas Luiz - so I don't think it would have made an awful lot of difference to our results. But you never know. Certainly he would be in a better position though.

I have a 2 hour drive back from every home game and I'm never upset by a loss by the time I get home. Always already excited and optimistic for the next match by the next morning. Wouldn't have survived the relegation season if not.
I am not someone who gets upset about Villa losing. I thought the reaction of the fans at the final whistle, applauding off a team that won 4-1, showed that there is an appreciation there by most people for the position we're in. We're not in the Top 5 by accident. We'll finish where we deserve to.

Yeah, a win would be huge. But my feeling every week is that we need to match, or do better than one of the three teams Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea. As long as we match at least one of those teams, then we're on track for at least 5th.
Not convinced that tonight's match is "must win" at this point. But it's certainly "must not lose".
