Making sure they’re DRY is a huge step! Sometimes they get sweaty in the plastic bags from going from a cold grocery store to a warm car or house.

I move mine into paper grocery bags, fold it closed and stash it in the coolest area of my kitchen. If we had a basement doorway near our kitchen I’d stash them in there.

Aldi tends to lower prices around the holidays too, so it might behoove you to add a little extra to your grocery budget to stock up. Butter is one item I usually keep an eye on price for, they’ll get it down to 2.99 or less sometimes and I’ll buy my limit every trip.
