Meta is definitely trying to acquire talent to sink competition, and maybe use that talent to make something. They're trying a different avenue to collect data that goes around Apple walling of some of it. Chat bots are the new Metaverse.

Nothing you don't know. The round-trip business agreements give them a bit more plot armor to accept loses, and some accounting flexibility to stay afloat in the minds of investors.
