Sometimes a tune comes up on my playlist that takes me right back to the mid 1990s, hanging out with Velda Lauder & Sam Sylvan (photo by Doralba Picerno). Sam & Velda have both been dead for over a decade now, but their influence still impacts my life & work. I'm very grateful to have known them ❤️
