I always found it a bit funny that when they went to do a long running cartoon for the prequels they chose the period between
AotC and RotS, rather than TPM and AotC, there's *so* many 'anakin and obi wan went on a bunch of adventures since the last movie' lines in AotC.

Here is my hot 007/James Bond take: Abandon continuity completely. Every movie, new Bond, new director, and it can be a period piece, it can be contemporary, it can be in the future, Bond could be a xenomorph, who gives a fuck? Make it a showcase for auteur directors and young up-and-coming stars.
