We can’t afford to check out. If the system is broken, we have to show up in numbers that can’t be ignored—and that means every single one of us counts.
Standing up doesn't always look like a vote. organizing, showing up, demanding accountability, and reminding those in power we’re watching. Elections might not be the whole answer, but they're still one of the most visible battlegrounds. If we give completely, we’re surrendering a key tool.
Regarding the importance of elections:
Many people feel disillusioned with the system. But if we believe elections won’t be free and fair, the worst thing we can do is disengage and hand over power without resistance. That’s exactly how we lose any remaining influence we do have.
