If Palestine is denied recognition on the basis of undefined borders, then so should Israel, which has never declared its own borders since 1948. The Montevideo Convention does not require finalised borders, only a defined territory, population, government, and capacity to enter relations. Palestine qualifies. So does Israel. But the standard must be consistent.

Appalling, shocking!! An Oxford surgeon who has just returned from Gaza says that in the hospital young boys come in shot in different places according to the day. So on one day all the young boys, who are trying to get food , have been shot in the head. On another day is their chest. Another day it's the testicles!! The Israeli soldiers are clearly enjoying the target practice!! He also says that Doctors going out from the west to help in Gaza hospitals (those few that arr left) have their bags searched by the Israelis upon landing and the only thing that is removed is baby formula!! There is a complete shortage of baby formula in Gaza. So, in removing this from the doctors 'luggage they are deliberately ensuring the babies die!!
