But since I have to be efficient with a comic, it's just faster using references. Illustrations are a different story. But I want to be transparent here: I don't have a talent for freehand drawing 🥲

take more time and are therefore not necessarily suitable for comics.... but that's just my personal opinion!
Sometimes I don't use references for Viktor and Jayce if I can't find the perspective I need. Then I use other faces that look similar or try to draw them on my own.

That's what happens when you've been doing the same thing for over 1000 pages for many years. It's hard to break the habit!
Therefore, I want to clarify that my colouring method is efficient (to me), but not particularly good haha... there are much better ways to colour, but they

I don't always proceed this way, but that's how I usually do a comic. I work step by step, like on an assembly line: all the outlines, all the colours, across all the pages. For individual illustrations, I sometimes try a different style, but I always fall back into this pattern.
