Captain America: Brave New World had the makings of a solid political thriller, but script rewrites and reshoots weakened it. Anthony Mackie shines as Captain America, and Harrison Ford is a strong President Ross. The heartfelt moments stand out, making me excited for more of Sam Wilson’s Cap.
