Yeah there's a lot of ways to deal with him but if you didn't roll a way to specificially deal with him (you need to bring your own rocks or roll the right skills or passives) he's just kind of a pain. As opposed to the spider who's entire mechanic is "if you die the fight gets harder"
he can walk through your cats so wedging him is easier said than done especially long term. He will summon wisps that will eat space for you so he has a built in solution but it's not a fun one to put up with lol
