Lots of chat about the *last* English royal to be arrested, but who was the first? The Anglo-Saxons typically bumped off their rivals, so I'll start the bidding with Odo, bishop of Bayeux, arrested and imprisoned by his half-brother, William the Conqueror, in 1082.

Really enjoy this approach to teaching Germany Q6 and Q7 for OCR B by studying a range of sources, getting students to think and then using them as hinge questions to check whole class understanding of which is the best answer and also identifying potential misconceptions. #historyteacher

Every year, students say they can't read my writing on feedback. This year I've used a mail merge to import the data direct from excel - it means they are clear on the feedback and I retain the feedback for my own reference. Game changer #historyteacher
