I must confess Grey Havens did a good job maintaining this time capsule of a game so that I can return to the feelings of those times whenever I play. (But pls make the gremlin disguise mask a permanent cosmetic, I beg of you)
I think the big reason I've gravitated back to Spiral Knights so obsessively is that it reminds me of a time in the 2010s when the internet wasn't so rotten. When I posted in forums and the scope of content I consumed was smaller and more specific, and there were far fewer ads.

Here's my gremlin, Remii! She's an Ironclaw deadeye, which is an unofficial class I've given her since there's no gremlin gunslinger in Spiral Knights and being as heavily armored as a mortafire isn't her style. Her favorite gun is the blitz needle

For those who know me, I'm just as surprised as you are and I'm adapting. For those who don't, hi. My name's Hal and I enjoy making art, playing indie games, and having a crabby attitude. It's not you, promise.
Making it through the day is easier when there's people around who will listen and understand. It's why I'm back on social media. I enjoyed the social aspect of it and I want to balance the negativity with community.
What I'm saying here is that life is throwing more curveballs at me than I can handle and I find myself pissed and snappy on a daily basis. So I wanna reach out to people again and connect, put myself out there so that I can be found and seen and checked up on.
But I'd much rather sit down and talk with someone about things more. Whether it be about what annoys me that day or something unrelated to distract me from the stress. (Thanks to those who've put up with me randomly yapping at them btw, y'all are rad for that)
