Obviously the OSRS design is simpler, but when they updated the RS3 model it lost that iconic feel IMO. The Dragonwilds version takes that iconic feel and adds some of the modern flares like the winged helm and blends them in a way I never expected. 10/10 love it!

I've been able to look at this design a lot more closely since getting home and I'm amazed at how well it marries the OSRS and RS3 designs. The OSRS side is definitely the heavier influence for sure, but it's far from a bad thing.

Should be no surprise. The only other game that might come close is The Outer Worlds 2 and as much as I love Obsidian, I don't think it's too close this time around.

With how much waiting this community has done, Silksong does deserve some wins. I haven't touched either Hollow Knight, but I plan on fixing that. It's another series up my alley.

Of the nominees, I've only played Persona 5: The Phantom X and honestly fell off quick. The horse girl game took the mobile game scene by storm and will likely win this race (pun 100% intended)

Don't get me wrong, I love FF14 and Helldivers 2. I don't think either game is in the place they could be. I do believe they are working hard on fixing that. NMS just keeps on improving constantly. I've honestly never circled back to a game as much as I have with NMS
