Okay sorry, rant over. I just read a fic I ended up ditching right in middle and had to get that off my chest without dumping it on the poor author’s page who just wanted to write a fun little fan fic

I really want a Steddie fic where Steve got really mean cuz a lot of people in the Steddie fandom joke about how much of a bitchy mean girl he is but it’s always so surface level. Like I want him to be MEAN mean and have to make up for it.

I def got emotional for Eddie working through some of his issues. And Jeff is such a good friend!

Edward is a xtra upset because his uncle is only being held captive cuz he took the fall for something that the villagers were blaming Edward for and the price the pay penance was set so impossibly high that Edward can never hope to pay it back

The band is Coheed and Cambria. their album Color Before the Sun is a lot about the lead singers fears about his son Atlas being born. And then their most recent album is a concept album that takes place in a space fantasy setting but is about the two main characters fighting to save their child

One of my favorite bands actually has a lot of recent songs about parenthood so that’s the vibe I’m imagining

It’s a combination of this and the whole Twitter drama about people not knowing what the Odyssey is that made my buy a copy of the Iliad and Odyssey. I’v barely started and I already want to buy more classic Greek literature. I truly am back in my Greek Mythology stint from middle school

I can also imagine this Eddie writing a lot of songs about the struggles and joys of childbearing and parenthood while he’s carrying those pups and maybe after all the physical stress is over he takes to making a few totally metal songs out of it and becomes a hit with omega-centric counter culture

Omg I love this! I’m such a sucker for opposing traits in Omegaverse AUs. Like how you wrote Eddie as a loud and brash Omega when talking about what he wants and in contrast Steve as a shy and bashful alpha when talking about what he hopes for from Eddie

DID YOU KNOW that Pittbulls were bred for fighting other dogs and NOT humans? Handlers actually sought out pits that had human aggression bred out of them cuz it minimized the chance of a dog turning on their handlers. So while yes, a pitbull DOES need to be train to repress aggression (1/2)
