From the ones I have seen, I would love to see Train Dreams win Best Film. Despite the local interest, I was underwhelmed by Hamnet. It would be cool if Emma Stone got a third Oscar!

I am about the only person I know who likes Supertramp... one of their strengths was the split of songwriting and lead vocals.

What do you think, 20 years on?

Wow. I used to have that on vinyl. It must be at least 35 years since I last heard it.

Seeing it @borderlinesff.bsky.social on Tuesday afternoon. Expecting great things following Aquarius and (especially) Bacurau.

Just downloaded a recipe which includes the instruction "cut the onion into 4 evenly sized pieces"... if only there was a word for that πŸ€”

Plus, their pricing is weirdly inconsistent...

I have some great Delphian recordings, but they have become prohibitively expensive. Β£25 for a single CD!?

#NowWatching The last two episodes tonight. It's 40 years since I last saw this, but am not expecting it to end well for Craven.

This has reminded me that I have not played *this* collection for a few years.

#NowPlaying #Dompan! One of my favourite alto and clarinet players - a selection of Ellington and Strayhorn. Such a lovely album.

I should really make more of an effort to overcome my prejudice (snobbery? 😳) with regards to Naxos. After all, I *have* bought some cracking sets on Brilliant Classics over the years.

I would have torn. I have never seen the EGIPA outside of Manchester, but I love a pint (or two) of Mild!

I will make an exception for his piano part on The The's Uncertain Smile, but downhill for 44 years.

I've not been often, but love that pub! Is the Earl Grey IPA on draught on?

Not heard it yet, and am now unlikely to! Also, I am seriously running out of storage space, and have promised myself to restrain from purchasing repertoire repeats... this probably won't last.

Not a revisit, then?

I have never read anything by EW... is this a bad thing?

Provided, of course, they haven't ruined it with a car park (and overpriced cafΓ©)

I love travelling around Herefordshire on the bus. Occasionally I will be on my way back from Bromyard (in the NE) at the end of a walking day, and the views across the County towards the Black Mountains in the "golden hour" are sublime. What else could you get to compare to the experience for Β£3!
