honestly i wish CD packaging were a little bigger because i like how you can decorate with vinyl (but i hate vinyl). i received two of my favorite records of all time which are rare but framing two tiny pitiful cds feels kind of underwhelming.

only because i was there at some point in my life - but to every young artist, please take other artists copying you with the utmost excitement and kindness, fuck "please don't copy my style". millions go their entire lives without leaving an impression or conquering shit, own that.

truth 2 be told, i only started drawing because a joint disorder prevented me from playing guitar + my teachers were all complete shit, it was like learning to draw from guys who only traced goku from a magazine for 10+ years.

i understand why animators are so fucking neurotic, you ever look how their industry operates or just what their work ethic entails? it's not uncommon to find musicians saying working on one song daily for a month drove them insane. this is just your life as an animator.

i copied cassetterecorder's art almost obsessively when i was 16-19.

truth to be told, it's knowledge that may come in handy at some point but my hat's off to every animator, i never want to do that ever again.

quitting animation has been the best thing ive done for myself. i feel bad i never really had anything worth showing but on the flip side i feel a lot better about the gains i've had as a musician since then.
