Alright after like a day of just doing bot matches in deadlock to get the rhythm of it down, im finally doing some actual pvp matches and i think im doing alright

im even getting lucky and getting silver often so even if im losing im still having an alright time

i can see why the sierra madre casino itself is almost no combat encounters except the lobby every time you do something major cuz i was rocking a med-x, whiskey addiction for the entire backhalf for a reason and was just chopping my way through large swaths of them no problem really.

gameplay was meh i think it was the best at the start but once i starting getting a ton of ammo and healing items it just felt like the main game but the enemies were tankier and i could only use like 2 mediocre guns for most of it.

Dead money is unfortunately scoring a tad worse for me on this one. The story and every character was absolutely solid Dog/God and Christina were absolutely wild for me every step of the way and i unfortunately knew deans shtick but whatever hes still funny

And honestly the story was pretty neat all things considered. I like fury shes cool and I actually got rug pulled at the end twice

However the game has a constant toxic Yuri relationship with fury and her watcher so it automatically rocks

also the game kinda blatantly a little unfinished or atleast had some development problems considering I can just find unfinished textures around a ton in like one area. Liked the weird metroidvania thing and the new forms just wish their was a little more pizazz in its gameplay

Like im SO glad this game doesn't have the gear system from two but I wish it was a little less soulsy. My launchers being directly connected to perfect dodges and combo potential already being lackluster means im playing this mostly like breath of the wild and just waiting for attacks
