I’ll add some of these to my lessons. Going to look at these this week.
I’m hoping to have something that may help with this released in a few weeks :) but yes my advent calendar of integration doesn’t have FM sadly.
Ooh is this Gemini?
What did you use to code this up?
It’s been an amazing trip!! Thanks for all your hard work organising
I am going to steal this :) such a good selection of phrases.
Excitingly I’ve finally managed to convince him to get onto Bluesky. Give @jim-hardy.bsky.social a follow :)
Could have been more impactful. Also depends very much on board and your scheme of work to how well things match up.
We had it for a while. Students generally weren’t terribly positive about it. If the student dedicates the time it will definitely have an impact, but persuading them to do it I found hard and took resources in terms of teacher time and admin time away from things that I thought 1/2
A friend of mine has just launched this website that I think is pretty great for generating quick starters for A-Level maths and he has started adding some questions for Further Maths too.

Well they claim they did and everyone e loved it!!
This is very exciting!! Cynically though, Casio know how many are going to sell to teachers who want this over the old version. They should send us all a free one!
Planning ahead for next Christmas I am thinking of doing another one (with different questions obviously). So in preparation for this I'd love to hear any comments on this years one if you had one of them :)
I hope anyone who had one of my Advent Calendars this year enjoyed the daily questions - I will bring be posting video solutions in the first week of January and then packaged the questions together by qualification so they can be used for revision.
I posted a short Christmas Day estimation task on my website on Christmas Day featuring a tub of good old Quality Street (even if I am still very disappointed with the new fangled paper packaging). #ALevelMaths
