A PCB layout showing placement of various connectors, but with the USB-C receptacle replaced with a Molex FFC connector (5020782562)
Drawing except for Molex 5020782562
Footprint drawing of a typical 24-pin USB-C receptacle.
Here's some @cursed-connectors.bsky.social conent perhaps?
Molex 5020782562 looks as good as it might get, if you ever need to relocate / do questionable things to a 24-pin USB-C connector...
(always have a contingency plan when it comes to connectors..!)

Hey bluesky, what's up? I will most probably be more active on mastodon, but let me share what I'm currently working on:
Coming weekend I will be at #Supercon where lots of people will bring SAOs (Simple Add-ons) for the badge. One of my favorite SAOs I made, is TARS:

Thank you. I did some experiments with bubble displays. But now I'm am more into 5x7 matrices because you can display characters.

One of my projects is this TIL311 replica (lighter one in the images.the darker one=original). It is a drop in replacement of this retro hexadecimal display. I made a silicone mold of the original and put a self made PCB in resin. It is much brighter and draws less power. hackaday.io/project/175903
