I wanted the Kings to get Patrick Baldwin Jr in that draft and clearly I was correct because he inspired a victory in his first game with the team.

I am positive that the amount I'm constantly worrying about them has taken years off my life.

They also provide such great joy but man. I'd be such a better person and parent if I could turn off the worry part of my brain.

Being a parent provides more stress than anything else I've ever experienced times 100. There are hardly any days where I'm not so incredibly worried about them that I can actually take care of myself properly.

And, as a believer in the tank, I'd love to see them rattle off a few wins in a row. Especially now that Lavine and Sabonis are out, that means that it would largely be because of the younger guys. And that's a good thing! They need some wins!

2/3 of the league make the postseason. None of those teams are trying to avoid making the play-in or playoffs.

Almost all of these teams are just legitimately bad and using the time to develop youth makes sense regardless of tanking
