GP5Ks aren't really what I'd call "winter tyres" but as long as you remember to keep them pumped up enough to stop pinch flats you should have a great time.

Why has the BBC not reported on the Digital ID protests?

It's covered by most other UK news organisations but the BBC...? Not a peep.

The Hexagon Hotel in Mineral Wells was built in 1895 by David G. Galbraith. The twelve-sided hotel was clad in clapboard and set atop a solid stone foundation. Two English stonemasons handled all the stonework. The rooms were hexagon-shaped, with two rooms sharing a bathroom. Torn down in 1959.

We really don't.

The Estonian ID scheme that's touted as poster child for this was hacked compromising vast amounts of personal information. We just don't want that and would rather spend the implemenation money on something else.

It's just a waste of money is what it is. You're focusing on the "foreign" part of what I said that's really not important.

The point is that we're spending money on the wrong things.

I know how the underbidding and change request game is played. I've seen first hand the box ticking for features that don't work knowing you can charge fix them later.

I have no problem with foreigners, I have a problem certain large foreign IT consultancies because I have worked for them in the past. ;)
