My 6yo: “is nighttime a weather?”
Me: “no”
6yo: “really? But sunny is a weather. Is moon a weather?”

This is as good as I’m gonna get it… turns out the Rumi braid is hard to do to your own hair when all you normally know how to do is just brush your hair and you don’t have any hair spray. And also it doesn’t work too well with hair that’s cut in layers.
The Daily Spell is a really neat daily puzzle where it’s a continuing story throughout the week! It’s fun reading the news story each day after figuring out the headline!

I almost never do anything with my hair other than brush it, so it’s kinda a big thing that I’m trying something new with my hair styles for my upcoming music video! This is the first of 3… can you guess who I’m going for?

I stopped tracking my puzzles on Puzzle Tracker app but I still track them on a spreadsheet and I did 13 jigsaw puzzles in January. A lot were with other people since I went to a mini competition yesterday!
And here are all the board games I played in January! 30 plays, 19 games. Highlights were escape room games with kids, CoraQuest with kids, and Jisogi (with adults)!
I also made a Valentine’s Day meeple shirt design in January! I guess I had a productive January. I also might make some printable Valentine’s cards with this design, but I need ideas for good board game Valentine text.

I just finished Spooky Express from @draknek.bsky.social yesterday, and I loved the game! But not just because of the puzzles, I loved the cute comics and songs throughout the worlds! I also had fun making up lyrics for the music, so here’s a video with all those songs!

I finished recording a new song parody (just audio so far) and it made me remember how much I love singing! I kinda wish I could speed up the other parts of the process so I could record more singing 😆
