A perfect song. I think Neil knows it too- don’t think I’ve ever been to a gig where he didn’t play it! Also I know I’m not the first to mention it but “I don’t pretend to know what you want but I offer love” is quite possibly Neil’s ever best line (and there are some strong contenders).

“What kind of skates are we talking about: normal skates or figure skates?” 💀💀

I appreciate your opinion even though it is, as per usual, wrong. That said the people who agree with you are what make it so entertaining!
One of life’s greatest pleasures is getting people who aren’t British to try Marmite for the first time and watching their reaction.
I’m with you on this! It’s often the track that ends up lingering in my head after listening to the album. A nice gentle melody to finish the album.
So many of those primary school songs did low-key go hard tho ngl
Why do I have the Harvest Samba stuck in my head?
Going against the grain to say I really like this one. It feels like it really opens up in the chorus, very singable melody and lots of nice jangly guitars!
I get people asking every so often why my profile picture is of a man when I’m a woman but like I’m also not an 11th century king and no one ever questions that bit… 🤷♀️
Defenestrate is just a term people who are good at Scrabble use for yeet.
“Safe passage was granted / by a pair of scorpions” is a favourite in that it just comes out of seemingly nowhere 😂🦂🦂
There are quite a few songs on Gravity Stairs that feel like they could be part of “Lightsleeper pt 2” and this one particularly so with its dreaminess and unexpected changes. Not traditional CH but its melodies happily float around in my head and also love the way the lyrics meander.
I swear I have so many stray capital letters on my nouns every time I write in English these days

Genuinely don’t understand these people, you paid good money to be at the gig, why not watch it?!! Also mad disrespectful to talk through someone’s set, both to the people listening and to the artist, am embarrassed for them
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
My laptop just did a massive crash whilst editing, flashing screen and everything. Please send your prayers 🙏🙏
Not people asking me a question in English and me hesitating too long to think about the answer so they attempt to translate it into broken German for me to understand…
Me: *Drawing picture of a hedgehog*
Friend: “If you were an animal you would be a hedgehog.”
Rest of group: *enthusiastic agreement*
Can’t decide if this is a good thing or not but ig it’s official 😅
Also little Easter egg I only discovered when trying to learn it for myself on guitar… around 2:18, Neil messes up the lyrics but improvises something new to cover up so smoothly that the only thing which gives him away is him smiling to himself. An absolutely master 🙌🙌
I absolutely love this version, I feel like it shows the versatility of a song your really wouldn’t expect to work in an acoustic version! Some really nice chords and little melodies

I was forced to watch this film against my will but it was actually much better than I was expecting tbf
Bringing a guitar with you to a campsite sounds like a great idea until you open the case and find a slug on it… 🤢
That’s no fun!! 😂
I am now all the more excited for when I get a chance to watch it!! 😁😂
