This is why Indiana feels as "red" as it is. Not because of parties, because of how districts are drawn, & after a few elections, voters feel like their vote doesn't matter & then gerrymandering works. Vote anyway b/c most races are decided by just a few thousand or even a few hundred votes!

I know all of this feels accelerationist and it is. That is the point so you turn to the people who are supposed to be in power to take care of you. But they are the ones with their foot on the gas pedal. Only Congress has the power to declare war and going to war should be a slow process.
