if you had more ki and/or a way to regain ki, it could be a very good class

dont get me wrong, i love monk in pathfinder for example, but 5e has 3 main issues for me.
1: it has the lowest resource pool in the game while also having the highest resource usage, being the only class to use multiple of their points for stuff

sadly speedy gonzales wont do much in a fight with less damage than a lvl1 barbarian once the miniscule ki pool is dry 😔
