I'm very bad with computer things and even more with Linux but for what I understand you install Wine and then you install Bottles. Bottles is kinda an interface and does all the work for you. Or something like that idk.
This is true! I started my art journey by using Krita, I switched in 2024 to CSP and, I'm not by any means saying Krita is bad, it's just that CSP works better for me and has some features that I like, timelapses for example. Well, I really wish CSP would make a native version for Linux.
Yup! Go to the official Wine site and search for Clip Studio, then click on the CSP link (normally the first one) and there find the guide for CSP 4.x. There is all the info you need step by step.
This is true. There are two issues for me right now, 1) You can record timelapses but not export them and 2) The files management is a little tedious since. But everything works. I hope CSP make a Linux version soon 🙏🏻

100%! After a lot of work and about 4 formats on my PC (I learn by destroying xD), I am impressed by how well everything works. Sometimes I even regret having bought so much RAM, Linux doesn't use any of it. My software and games that I play, everything works 😊
Oh! I see! I use CachyOS, I can open the backup cloud page in order to transfer all my widows settings to linux and I can open the store too!. For what I learned the issue is related with having an rtx5000 series, you have to disable DXVK and VKD3D. I hope that works for you!

Nope, CSP does not work on Linux, but you can bypass that using other software to install it. And ty!
To be honest, people who know me know that I've been trying to learn since 2024, only now have I managed to get "everything" I need to work. Anyway, specifically I'm using CachyOS.
