If we want the democrats to stay strong on this shut down, we need to step up as a community. I talked to work today about starting a local food drive and it is being pitched to the president of our company. I took on going to the local food bank to drop it off. We need to come together right now

Due to the shutdown and the unfortunate monetary issues SNAP is having, it might be worth going to the grocery store for some donate-able food and dropping it off at your local food bank. I know times are tight but even $5 worth of food could help a starving child.

I just wish I didn’t have to do it by myself when my parents, who are my best friends. They are “proud” of me. Well they can take that feeling and shove it up their ass.
