Just wrapped up Day 2 of the Clinton Depositions and sat down with MS NOW to discuss former President Bill Clinton’s hearing. Now, it’s time for President Trump to stand before the committee, raise his right hand, and tell the truth. The victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein deserve justice.

As a former Prosecutor, I’ve led these types of investigations. And this one? It’s not serious. As we begin Day 2 of the Clinton Depositions, let me reiterate: Justice needs to be served.

Talked all things Clinton Depositions with NPR this morning as we head into Day 2 of the hearings. The American people, and the victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, deserve for the truth to be released. www.npr.org/2026/02/27/n...

Day 1 of the Clinton Depositions. We @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social will continue to make certain that the victims and survivors are given their due and their voices are heard, and that justice is ultimately served.

"I've led serious prosecutions, and this ain't that!"

This should be a public hearing. Enough with the political theater.

As a Prosecutor, we are ‘victims’ advocates, but this House-Republican investigation under the Trump Administration appears to be advocating for the ‘criminals.’

Honored the life of our own Gwen Reed on the House floor today. I'm eternally grateful to have known her and will carry her lessons with me always. Rest in Peace and Power, Mama Reed.

Say it with me: “Cover-up.”

The only question is how much MORE are they trying to hide?

This month, we kicked off our Youth Council with our first meeting and a group tour of the Mill Creek: Black Metropolis exhibit at the Missouri History Museum for Black History Month. Proud to get to celebrate Black culture and history in St. Louis with these young leaders.

I look forward to continuing to work with all of our world class institutions to make sure they are able to achieve our mission. And, as I said to Dr. Collins Smith:
“We’re just getting started!”

As the only HBCU in the St. Louis region, Harris-Stowe State University plays a critical role in growing our region and ensuring opportunity for all. I am proud to announce that I’ve secured over $1,000,000 in federal funding to expand HSSU's programming and modernization of its IT infrastructure.

As a former prosecutor, I know that public safety is foundational.  I look forward to bringing more resources back home as we continue to grow this region.

These funds will ensure our officers have state of the art equipment, strengthen public safety across our region and continue our mission of a community-oriented approach to policing.

This is about investing in our neighborhoods and making sure growth includes everyone, especially the seniors who helped build this city.

St. Louis is a sleeping giant. And it's time we started acting like it by investing like it. Stay tuned for more exciting funding announcements coming up!

From day one, I’ve been focused on bringing federal dollars back home to the St. Louis region. This week, I had the honor of being at the Southside Wellness Center to present $850,000 in federal funding to help build a new Southside Senior Services Center.

That’s why I introduced the Reinvest in Public Schools Act. Strong public schools are one of the clearest paths to opportunity in this country. If we’re serious about expanding opportunity in St. Louis and communities like it, we have to be serious about investing in our public schools.

I’ve seen firsthand what strong public schools can mean for a family and for a neighborhood. When schools are supported, kids have a real shot and communities grow stronger because of it. Here in St. Louis, we also know what lack of investment looks like.

My deepest and most heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to her family — which, if you listened to her, included so many of us who were not related by blood but were loved just the same.

Rest in peace, Mama Gwen Reed.

As one of the first Black teachers in the Hazelwood School District, as a Committeewoman, as a mentor, and in so many other roles, she led through her example, her advice, and her unconditional tough love.

I am still at a loss for words.

From marching with Dr. King to building a Rainbow Coalition that brought the forgotten into the center of our politics, he expanded what was possible.

May he rest in power.
