Appreciate all your righteous work and truthful reporting. My Mother was a Holocaust Survivor in Poland. As a 12 year old she saw her parents gunned down in the street by the gestapo. Children and families deserve better. End the cruelty now.

Inspired by your conversation with Nicole Wallace on the Beat People podcast. My parents were Holocaust Survivors and your story of the Jewish American POW in a German camp and poking holes in the potatoes to starve German soldiers was similar to my Father’s experience at Dachau.

Zohran Mamdani and Daniel Lurie couldn’t be more different, but they share what Democrats lack OPINION: “Unlike Republicans, Democrats have been reluctant to acknowledge, let alone channel, the appeal of the few remaining politicians in their party who actually invigorate voters.”

Voters want new candidates who speak to this moment, who aren’t tainted by the politicking of the party machine. This freshness, this energy, is more important than whether the candidate is progressive or moderate, left-wing or center.
