In "The Homeowner's Bride," the protagonist is a haunted house that's DTF. Both horror and a love story, it's one of the strangest, riskiest, most heartfelt things I've ever written, and I'm so thankful that Otherside took a chance on this piece.

Absolutely apropos of something, I feel it's time to share this again.

As the other Otherside poetry editor, I can't stress this enough. "Please fuck us up. Please make it gayer and more trans and stranger and more unabashedly you than you think would usually be accepted. WE want that kind of shit. We want the othered queer pieces that take forever to find a home 💜
