Absurd gimmick. Stopping asylum seekers from working pushes people into destitution and forces reliance on meagre welfare payments. Time for a common-sense change to law to allow asylum seekers to work - to support themselves and contribute to the economy

Hey Simon! I didn’t recognise the double barrelled name. Trust all is well enough with you.

It needs not to be billed as bold or exciting… it must not force communities and their advocates to work ‘at pace’. Instead it needs to settle in carefully alongside…

If we truly want this methodology to foster a public service reborn in ethical, relational terms, we must embed care-based values, participatory design, and qualitative evaluation alongside the technical infrastructure it already builds…
