Theodore Roosevelt & Harry Truman both tried to put forth national health care plans long ago. The ACA is far from perfect, but Obama was the 1st to really wrestle & tackle the matter & make a difference. "Obama Care" from 2012:

For what it's worth "Baseball Reference" shows a MLB Average ERA as 3.90 for year 1959, 3.70 for year 1975, and 4.14 for year 2025 -- so far. This does not take into account starters vs. relievers.

He's virtually tied for the team lead in HR & RBI with far fewer AB than Holiday, Henderson, O'Hearn & Mullins. He's also virtually tied for the lead in BA & a clear #1 in OPS.

Still not sure why they didn't skip over Young tonight & go straight to Eflin, who's had more than enough rest. Unless he pitched in the minors too recently? All the other starters fit neatly into their regular rest.

Personally, I'd like to see Colbert maintain his platform at CBS till the end of his contract in 2026, wherein he has the resources to effectively continue speaking out on Trump, but hold off on directly addressing the Paramount/CBS business matters (sellout) & likely lose his platform.
